A Bit About Me
Growing up in North Georgia, I discovered my passion for visual storytelling through childhood projects - directing Barbie movies, crafting music videos with friends, and consistently choosing video formats for school assignments. This early fascination evolved into formal training at Vanderbilt University, where I'm pursuing dual majors in Cinema/Media Arts and Science Communication, complemented by a Environmental Studies minor.

My work blends technical expertise (certified in Adobe Premiere Pro, skilled with professional gear) with emotional intelligence - from capturing a grandmother's milestone birthday to preserving community histories through archival work. My recent dance photography for Vitality Dance Company merges technical precision with artistic interpretation, while my academic work explores how visual media can make environmental science concepts accessible. I thrive in collaborative environments, from directing live school broadcasts to co-creating festival-accepted documentaries like "Edgehill" (2024). What drives me is the "lightbulb moment" when visuals create connection - be it through a couple's wedding video tears or making scientific concepts accessible through animation.
